We're sorry for the delay on some of these "Sunday Recap" posts! As is probably true for you and your family, summer has been a whirlwind here at the church as well. But it's been a great July so far. We're already four weeks into our summer morning preaching series on "Being the Church." If you missed this Sunday, make sure you give it a listen, pastor Eric Durso preaching on "What Makes a Church a Church?"
This last Sunday we kicked off our Renew series as well, with Pastor Brent Hisayasu preaching from Colossians on the command for us to forgive one another. Very challenging, and convicting stuff here, which you also don't want to miss. You can listen to this first Renew message here.
We dedicated Brooklyn Lingle and also prayed for the whole Lingle family as they get ready to move in a few weeks, to Minnesota. Keep this dear family in your prayers! We'll miss them, but are very encouraged and excited to send them to a new place and a new church family to serve and bless.
Here are our song lists from Sunday, July 9:
