Preparing for Sunday, 3/9/14!

Hey guys, hope to see you this Sunday morning. Jordan will continue our expositional series through Joshua, with Joshua ch. 6. This will be an important and interesting morning as we look at the "Death of the Innocent" in Joshua 6, as Israel invades and destroys the city of Jericho. This is some tough theology to wrestle with, and it's super important for us to process these deep things of God, and what He has revealed to us about Himself, together as a gathered church. Try to read chapter 6 again before Sunday (we were in it last week too, if it looks familiar).

We'll sing the following songs, both exulting in who God is, and all He has done for us by giving His Son to ransom us, and wash us clean of our sin. And hopefully, these songs will also help shape us as we process through the chapter in Joshua we'll study together.

Josh Starkey serves as the Worship Director at Grace Church of Simi Valley. He started attending Grace Church in 2000, became a member in 2005, and joined the pastoral staff in 2010. Before joining the church staff full-time, Josh taught English at Grace Brethren High School for ten years.
