Preparing for Sunday, 1/5/14!

by Josh Starkey on January 03, 2014

Hey folks,

Hope you'll be joining us this Sunday morning. Jordan will be preaching partly from Colossians 2:1-15, which we'll also read in the service. This will be a vision cast for 2014, for where we're headed as a church family. We're also starting a new Equipping Class cycle 2nd hour (10:45 AM), so make sure you come and check out your options for these 8 weeks.

It's always strange coming out of December and starting our "normal" rotation of hymns and worship tunes, since we get so used to singing all our Christmas stuff. It was a great December, but it'll be great to dive back into some of our other church favorites, and learn some new songs too in the coming months. All this to say, you may want to give some of the links a visit, to refresh and prepare to sing heartily this week.

This Sunday we're including a set of some of our church family's most loved songs, to compliment Jordan's sermon on goals and vision for the new year. The hope is that we'll unite in song, as well as in the other elements of the service, and look to the year ahead with a lot of joy in our identity as ransomed, blood-bought Christians. Songs we'll sing this Sunday morning will include:

1. Indescribable

2. Our Song From Age To Age

3. Blessed Be Your Name

4. Never Once (Chorus)

5. All I Have Is Christ

See you Sunday, 9:00 AM!
