Preparing for Sunday, 1/15/17!

We're returning to our preaching series through the book of Luke this Sunday! To prep, read through Luke 18:31-43, and you can get caught up on some of our last Luke messages here (we've been off for 3 weeks because of Christmas, and a 2-part New Years message).

Jordan will also start a short series that we'll add to our gatherings, called "5 Minutes of 'Why?'" In these small segments, he will be explaining some of the specific things we do as a church, giving a little perspective on why we do what we do, that way that we do. He has a big list of topics lined up, and this Sunday he'll talk for 5 minutes about baptism before we get into the message in Luke.

We'll also HAVE a baptism this coming Sunday during first service, and we'll sing the following songs together. Hope to see you there!

Josh Starkey serves as the Worship Director at Grace Church of Simi Valley. He started attending Grace Church in 2000, became a member in 2005, and joined the pastoral staff in 2010. Before joining the church staff full-time, Josh taught English at Grace Brethren High School for ten years. Josh and his wife Jenny have three kids, and love being a part of the life of their local church!
