"Is my child a Christian?"
I believe most Christian parents wrestle with this question at different stages of their child's life. It may look different at various times, but the question often underlies our deepest concern for our kids. After all, isn't my child's greatest need salvation? Shouldn't you do everything you can to make sure they see their need for a Savior? Have I failed as a parent if my child doesn't "accept Christ"?
These are just some of the concerns we'll be addressing over the next several weeks during the Equipping class, "Is my child a Christian?" We'll discuss not only how to teach the Gospel to your children, but how to model the Gospel as well. At what point could your child be baptized? Is it ok for them to participate in the Lord's Supper (communion) with mom and dad? Navigating these questions doesn't have to be a mystery, but can be rightly understood by the clear instructions God gives to parents and the expectations He has for children.
I hope you can join us this Sunday as we discuss this crucial topic together!
