Meet Hannah Carmichael

We are so pleased to introduce our speaker, Hannah Carmichael as our upcoming speaker for our Women's Conference! Many of you may know Hannah for her unique gift of communicating God’s Word with both humility and confidence. Her teaching is not just inspiring—it is deeply instructive and practical for the challenges we face daily.

Hannah Carmichael has been married to her high school sweetheart for 16 years. Her husband, Patrick, is the pastor of Christ Bible Church in Mission Hills, CA. Hannah homeschools their three children and loves to teach at their homeschool co-op.

She has a master’s degree in classical studies and loves to find gospel themes in every genre of literature. She has been volunteering at the Open Arms pregnancy clinic for 7 years where she shares the love of Jesus with women wanting to get an abortion. She is passionate about providing a safe environment for women to confess their sin, shame, and weaknesses and then minister to their specific struggles with gospel truths.

Christie Saunders serves as Children’s Ministry and Communications Coordinator at Grace Church of Simi Valley. Christie met her husband, Joe, while they were both attending Grace College in Indiana. They have been married since July of 2004 and have 4 children together.

Christie started attending Grace Church in 1988, at the age of 7 years old! Grace is where she came to a saving faith in Christ and where she was baptized. She went on to get her B.S. in Biblical Counseling at Grace College, but her heart was never far from her church family at Grace Simi. When her 3rd born was diagnosed with a severe heart condition in 2012, she found her foundation to be unwavering as her church family poured out support during a time of despair. It is her desire to be a bold and faithful servant for God’s kingdom while doing her part to keep the church office running smoothly!
