Matt and Mai Higby live in Osaka, Japan, and are part of the Encompass World Partners church-planting team. This is a relatively new team for Encompass World Partners and Matt and his teammates are still engaged in language studies and strategizing how best to reach the people of Osaka. Matt and Mai were married in April of 2020. Matt met Mai in Long Beach, California, while she was there studying abroad. Mai has completed her application process and is now a full-time staff member with Encompass.
