Sunday Recap: 5/14/17 Mother's Day!

Hey folks,

Happy Mother's Day again to all our moms. If you missed it, be sure and check out the hashtag #gracesimimoms on Instagram and Facebook for a ton of amazing Mother's Day posts from our church family. Thanks to everyone who participated in that event, and for posting so much encouragement for the mothers in our lives.

It was a great morning of worship together yesterday. Pastor Jordan preached Luke 22:39-46, and Christ's instruction to the disciples to pray lest they enter into temptation. There was a lot of great practical theology to take into our week together, so make sure you give the message a listen here if you missed any of it!

Josh Starkey serves as the Worship Director at Grace Church of Simi Valley. He started attending Grace Church in 2000, became a member in 2005, and joined the pastoral staff in 2010. Before joining the church staff full-time, Josh taught English at Grace Brethren High School for ten years. Josh and his wife Jenny have three kids, and love being a part of the life of their local church!

As the director of corporate worship, Josh plans and leads the majority of our Sunday worship gatherings, and works to develop and broaden our worship team.
