It was a great time of worship together this morning. We did move communion forward a week (it's normally the last Sunday of each month), so we took it today on 9/4. If you'd like the article Jordan read as part of communion, written by our friend Gunner Gunderson, you can find that here - an article called "Ode to the Church."
Jordan began his conclusion to our "Work as Worship" mini-preaching-series. We'll extend this series another week with practical considerations of how we worship by preaching the Gospel in our workplaces.
We sang the following songs today:
- Our Song from Age to Age (Sovereign Grace Music)
- Hail the Day that Christ Arose (Charles Wesley, Sovereign Grace Music arr.)
- Because He Lives (Bill and Gloria Gaither)
- Your Love on the Line (Hillsong Worship)
- And Can it Be (Charles Wesley - we only sang the chorus to end the set)
