Well here's your Sunday recap for April 30th on this first day of May. We wrapped up a great month of worship gatherings yesterday. Pastor Jordan was gone the past few days with the board of directors of Encompass. We've been praying that it was a fruitful time, in that combining of vision and heart for the nations. And it's good to have our lead pastor back!
Eric Durso preached for us yesterday from Hebrews, a sermon entitled "Jesus Our Great High Priest." If you missed, make sure you give it a listen (or two). Really glorious stuff; pastor Eric served our church well.
We put together a set of songs for yesterday that delved into the preaching theme a little more intensely. There was a lot to choose from on the priestly role of Christ, but here's what we ended up singing together:
